We appreciate the great amount of interest we are receiving! This is very exciting! To help everyone get the information they need, save time, and provide the best service possible, we’ve compiled a list of commonly asked questions and answers. Please read through them below.

Who is the developer of Maplewood Village?
The developer is Better Living Lands, LLC (BLL). Treeline, Inc is constructing and managing the project for BLL.
When will homes be ready for occupancy?

We are pleased to report that we now have 5 Maplewood Village homes occupied! One more home is spoken for and will come on line soon. We expect to have several homes ready for occupancy by Spring 2026.

Can the homes be purchased or rented?

These homes will be available to purchase or rent. However, the lot that the home sits on is not available to buy.

Who pays for the utilities?
The tenant or resident will pay for their own electricity as well as their own natural gas for heat. These are modern energy efficient homes. Current tenants are experiencing utility costs well below average for this area.
I have a home now that I want to downsize from. Can you help me with that?
Yes, we will evaluate your current home for a potential purchase or trade. Your home may be perfect for a family that needs a larger home than what you need now. Just let us know what your situation is and we can discuss the possibilities.
What size are the homes?
We have 3 models.

  • Model A has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom
  • Model B has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom
  • Model C has 3 bedrooms and 1 and ½ bathrooms
What will it cost to rent or purchase a home?

Pricing of the home models listed above will be adjusted as the housing market changes. Please call for current pricing options and availability.

Will there be additional storage space available?
Yes, there is a limited amount of storage space available to rent on site.
What will be available for internet and TV?
BLL has negotiated a good TV/Internet package with Spectrum that all tenants and residents will participate in at a monthly cost that will be paid to BLL.
What amenities are available at Maplewood Village?

Each home will enjoy the following amenities:

  • Town Water and Sewer
  • Lawn mowing
  • Snowplowing
  • Trash removal
  • Unlimited use of any playground, walking trail, etc.
  • Limited use of the Community Center. The Community Center is a building that all residents will be able to share use of, hold meetings, etc. It has a kitchenette, bathroom, internet, smart TV, tables and chairs. There will be a fee structure developed for parties, reunions, etc.

These amenities are included in the cost of your rent/lot fee unless otherwise stated.
