Thank you for your inquiry about our new Family Friendly neighborhood called Maplewood Village. We appreciate the great amount of interest we are receiving! This is very exciting! To save time and provide the best information available, please read the commonly asked questions and answers below. We will update this page as we get more information.

When will homes be ready for occupancy?
The first home will be occupied in the Fall of 2024. We anticipate that three or four homes will be available in the Spring of 2025. Thereafter, we hope to bring additional homes on in the Fall of 2025 and the Spring of 2026.
Can the homes be purchased or rented?
These homes will be available to purchase or rent. However, the lot that the home sits on is not available to buy.
Who pays for the utilities?

The Tenant will pay their own electricity bill. They will also pay for their own propane gas for heat. Natural gas will be available soon. These are modern energy efficient homes. We expect the utility cost to be well below average for this area.

What will be available for internet and TV?
We do not have the details ironed out, but we expect to be able to offer Spectrum Internet and TV at a competitive price.
I have a home now that I want to downsize from. Can you help me with that?
Yes, we are willing to evaluate your current home to see if we can work some sort of a trade with you. Your home may be perfect for a family that needs a larger home than what you need now. Just let us know what your situation is and we can discuss the possibilities.
Will there be additional storage space available?

Yes, there will be a limited amount of storage space available to rent on site. Also, we may be able to provide storage sheds to be set up in the backyards for storage at a fair price.

What size are the homes?

We have 4 models.

  • Model A has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom
  • Model B has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom
  • Model C has 3 bedrooms and 1 and ½ bathrooms
  • Model D has 3+ bedrooms and 2 bathrooms

Note: We will have multiple homes of Models A, B, and C. We plan to build only one Model D. Most of these homes will have a carport.

What will it cost to rent a home?

First of all, each home will pay a lot rental fee. This fee will cover the following:

  • Town Water and Sewer
  • Lawn mowing
  • Snowplowing
  • Trash removal
  • Unlimited use of any playground, walking trail, etc.
  • Limited use of the Community Center. The Community Center is a building that all residents will be able to share use, hold meetings, etc. It has a kitchenette, bathroom, internet, smart TV, tables and chairs. There will be a fee structure developed for parties, reunions, etc.

We have not nailed all of the costs down yet, but we anticipate that the lot rent fee will be in the order of $400 per month.

Regarding what the homes will rent for, again, we have not nailed down the costs yet. We are doing all we can to keep these homes as affordable as possible. At this point in time, we expect that the homes will rent for between $900 and $1250 per month.

The total cost to rent will be the addition of the lot rent fee and the home rental amount.
